Characters of Robbery Bob
What makes Robbery Bob more than just another stealth game? The characters. From the goofy hero who can’t stay out of trouble to angry grandmas and shady masterminds, each one brings the game to life in their own weird way. They’re not just background noise — they shape the story, the chaos, and the fun. Whether they’re chasing Bob or helping him escape, these characters are a big part of why players keep coming back.
Main Characters
The Heart of the Game – Bob
Bob is the unlucky thief who always ends up in the middle of chaos. He’s not slick or sneaky, but he’s got charm — and just enough skill to escape trouble. His silly escapes make the game exciting, that’s exactly what the players love him.

In Robbery Bob 1, Bob starts off behind bars — until a shady guy known as the Strange Dealer helps him break out. But it’s not a free ride and he needs Bob to steal stuff from homes and high-security labs. He’s not built for the criminal life and keeps looking for a way to leave it behind for good.
Then Bob tries to start over downtown, thinking he’s safe. But nope — he gets bad side of Biff, a local criminal and has to steal again to protect himself. Later, Bob ends up in the hands of a mad scientist named Dr. Thievious who needs parts for his evil machine. Bob escapes and accidently destroys the lab.
In Robbery Bob 2, Bob crashes a wedding by mistake and ends up in hot water. To clean up the mess, he’s forced to work for the crime boss Don Cannelloni. He later teams up with Nickie Heisst to stop Dr. Thievious again. Things get even crazier when Manny Roswell warns him about aliens. Bob steals again to help stop the invasion.
By Robbery Bob 3, it’s total madness — mind control, illusions, robots, and way too many lasers. Bob just wants a break, but trouble keeps following him wherever he goes.
Dr. Thievious
Dr. Thievious is the genius villain in Robbery Bob 1 and 2. He captures Bob and forces him to steal parts for a secret machine. But like always, Bob escapes and accidentally blows up the lab.

In the second game, Dr. Thievious returns with even crazier tech, but Bob teams up with Detective Nickie to stop him again. With his wild traps and sci-fi gadgets, Dr. Thievious is one of the smartest — and most dangerous — enemies in the series.
Mr. Ferret – The Mysterious Suit in the Shadows
Mr. Ferret shows up in Robbery Bob 1 without saying a word, but he leaves a big impression. Always dressed sharp and standing in the background, he watches everything unfold without lifting a finger. He never explains himself, never gets involved—just stares. Whether he’s a puppet master or just keeping tabs, no one really knows. That quiet presence keeps players guessing whose side he’s really on.
Supporting Characters
Strange Dealer (Sam)
In Robbery Bob 1, Sam (aka the Strange Dealer) is the guy who breaks Bob out of jail — but not out of kindness. He forces Bob to steal for him, sending him through break-ins across the city. At first, he acts like a boss, but Bob turns the tables by the end and sets him up to be caught.

Manny Roswell
Manny shows up in the later part of Robbery Bob 2, claiming aliens are real — and coming. He’s strange, paranoid, and obsessed with UFOs. While he sounds crazy at first, Bob ends up helping him build a device to stop an alien invasion. Turns out, Manny might’ve been right all along.

Nickie Heisst – The Detective Who Helps Bob
Nickie is a smart and tough detective who appears in Robbery Bob 2. Instead of chasing Bob, she teams up with him to stop Dr. Thievious. She’s one of the few people who actually trusts Bob to do the right thing (sort of). She brings brains and backup when Bob needs it most.

Enemies and Bosses
Guards and Police Officers
Guards are the main obstacle in almost every heist Bob pulls off. Some stroll around looking bored, while others are sharp, quick, and loaded with gadgets like flashlights and radios. They guard everything from tiny apartments to high-security mansions. Step too loud or show your face for a second, and they’ll be on Bob like he stole their lunch.

These aren’t your average patrol guards. The police show up in the tougher levels and come with faster moves and sharper instincts. You can’t outrun them easily, and hiding spots don’t always work. If Bob sets off an alarm, expect sirens and flashing lights in seconds.
Biff
Biff is the muscle Bob didn’t ask for. He runs things in Downtown, and after Bob messes with his crew, Biff ropes him into doing dirty work. Big, loud, and quick to anger, Biff doesn’t have patience — or brains — but he’s a real threat. He’s not just part of the story; he’s one of the first major villains Bob has to outsmart.

Ghosts
Ghosts show up in the haunted levels of Robbery Bob 2, and they’re not just for decoration. These eerie floaters drift through walls and ignore hiding spots. The moment they sense movement, they’re coming for Bob, fast.

Residents – Include Angry Grannies
Residents are just regular folks living their lives—until Bob breaks in. Some are asleep on the couch, others are doing chores or pacing the room. But they’ve all got one thing in common: they’ll sound the alarm if they catch Bob sneaking around. They don’t chase him, but their screams bring in real trouble. Timing and silence are key when Bob’s tiptoeing through their turf.

Don’t let the gray hair and cardigans fool you — these grannies are fierce. Whether it’s the Old Lady or her equally cranky friends, they’ll chase Bob like he stole their knitting needles. They might not move fast, but they spot intruders in a flash and yell loud enough to wake the whole block. If Bob trips up in their house, expect slippers flying and alarms blaring.
Mountain Goats
You’d think the cold would be enough, but no — the snowy stages in Robbery Bob 2 come with angry mountain goats. They charge without warning and don’t care who’s in their way. Bob’s got to dodge them while sneaking around guards and ice. One headbutt from these beasts, and it’s back to square one.

Chefs
These guys do more than cook — they defend their kitchens like it’s a fortress. In some Robbery Bob 2 levels, chefs chase Bob with ladles, pans, and whatever’s hot and nearby. They’re fast, loud, and know every corner of the room. If Bob wants to get past without ending up on the menu, he’s got to be slick.

Guard Dogs
Loud, fast, and always sniffing around. These dogs are triggered by movement and sound. Some levels feature stronger or faster dogs that patrol tight spaces. If one catches your scent, hiding becomes almost impossible.

Don Cannelloni
Don Cannelloni runs the show in parts of Robbery Bob 2, and Bob gets tangled up in his mess fast. After ruining a wedding, Bob has to work for the Don to stay out of serious trouble. This guy’s all business—loud, dangerous, and not afraid to send Bob into risky jobs. He’s classic mafia material with a short temper and a long list of enemies.

Security Robots
You’ll run into these sharp-eyed bots in Robbery Bob 3, usually paired with tricky laser traps that make sneaking around way harder. They move in programmed paths and detect Bob using sensors. Some shoot electric charges if triggered.
Madame Mystique
A mysterious boss from the later games. She uses illusions and magic-like tricks to confuse Bob and make stealing much harder. Her levels feature mirrors, fake walls, and sudden surprises.
New Characters in Robbery Bob 2 & 3
Aliens
They appear in Robbery Bob 2 during the Manny Roswell storyline. These creatures come with weird tech and strange glowing rooms. Bob has to dodge scanners, steal alien gear, and avoid getting beamed up. The levels feel out of this world.
Hypnotized Residents
In Robbery Bob 3, a few unlucky people fall under mind control. They move in strange patterns, stare blankly, and react faster than normal folks. Bob has to be extra careful—these hypnotized enemies don’t act like regular residents and can mess up a perfect plan fast.
Illusionist Enemies
Found in later levels of Robbery Bob 3, these enemies create confusing setups. With fake walls, trap doors, mirrors, and rooms that disappear, these tricks keep Bob guessing. By the time he figures it out, he’s already in trouble. Trickiest levels in the whole game.
Robo-Maids
You’ll spot these speedy robots in Robbery Bob 3, zipping through levels and making stealth a whole lot tougher. Don’t let their name fool you—they’re not here to clean nicely. They zip around hallways, detect intruders, and alert guards. Some even chase Bob with shocking brooms. Definitely not your average housekeeper.
Conclusion
Robbery Bob stands out because of its oddball characters. They’re loud, sneaky, stubborn, and fun — just like the game itself. Every heist feels different thanks to them. Curious what the hype’s about? Dive in and give it a go!
